= � Fiorton <br />EMERGENCY VEHICLES <br />STRUCTURAL WARRANTY <br />The module body, manufactured by HEVC, is warranted thirty (30) years from the date of manufacture as <br />determined by the HEVC body build plate mounted in the module body. All exterior doors and hinges are <br />warranted against structural defects and, will remain in proper adjustment for thirty (30) years, Interior aluminum <br />cabinetry (exclusive of paint finish, hardware, moldings, and accessories) is warranted against structural defects <br />for thirty (30) years. Written approval must be given by HEVC prior to the repairs beginning on items covered by <br />this warranty. Unauthorized work will make this warranty void and unenforceable. <br />If the ambulance body is rechassised by HEVC during the original warranty period, the structural warranty will <br />be revalidated an additional five (5) years from the expiration of the original warranty period. Bodies <br />rechassised subsequent times will be warranted an additional five (5) years from the date the body was last <br />rechassised, provided that necessary repairs are authorized by the owner and performed by I-IEVC. Any <br />rechassis of body modification work perfon-ned by an unauthorized party will void this warranty. <br />These warranties extend only to standard NEVC features and published standard HEVC options. Special <br />options and features that are not part of HEVC's published options list shall be subject to the original OEM <br />manufacturer, If any, as HEVC may designate in writing for each specific case. <br />HEVC's warranty does not Include the chassis or chassis parts. The warranty does not include normal -wear <br />parts such as tires, batteries, bulbs, or upholstery. Warranty coverage of special options components will be <br />considered on a case -by -case basis with the terms given in writing. Warranty coverage is based upon <br />reasonable maintenance, prompt notification of defects. This warranty will not cover defects resulting from <br />misuse, negligence, accident, OF overloading the vehicle beyond its weight rating. All warranty repairs must be <br />completed by HEVC or a HEVC-authorized party. This warranty does not cover work that was not performed by <br />IAEVC. <br />HEVC's warranty does not cover travel expenses, towing charges, mileage, downtime, or personnel time <br />associated with warranty repairs. HEVC shall have no obligation to provide a replacement vehicle. <br />HEVC shall determine the extent of warranty repairs, <br />Within sixty (60) days of transfer of ownership of an HEVC vehicle by the original purchaser, HEVC's warranty <br />may be revalidated provided that the original or subsequent owner has the vehicle inspected by HEVC or its <br />authorized dealer and complete and files a warranty revalidation form available from HEVC. Upon subsequent <br />transfer of ownership, this warranty may be revalidated in the same manner, provided that is has been <br />revalidated on each preceding transfer. The warranty is valid beginning from the date of the original <br />manufacture and expires at the conclusion of the original warranty term. <br />Horton Emergency Vehicles reserves the unrestricted right at any time, and from time to time to make changes <br />in the design of, and/or improvements on its products without thereby imposing any obligation on, itself to make <br />corresponding changes or improvements in or on its products theretofore manufactured. <br />This manufacturer's warranty is provided in place of any and all other representations or express or implied <br />warranties, Including the Implied warranty of merchantability. No person is authorized to make any other or <br />further representation or warranty on behalf of Horton Emergency Vehicles or its Dealers.
