10083-0016 <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />K2, Cabinet, std, wl CPR seat <br />STREETSIDE CPR SEAT UPPER CABINET <br />Cabinet "K2" shall be located on the street side of the patient <br />compartment. It shall be the rear upper cabinet over the CPR seat <br />and shall be 6.75 inches high and 25.00 inches wide, and 7.00 <br />inches deep. It will have a hinge -up style door. <br />L. Cabinet, L1, L2, L3, std, 72" H.R. <br />STREETSIDE FORWARD UPPER CABINET <br />Cabinet " L" shall be located on the street side of the patient compartment. It shall <br />be the forward upper cabinet just above the action area. The cabinet shall be <br />divided into two separate cabinets "L1, "L2 ". Cabinet "Ll" shall be 18.75 inches <br />high, 13.50 inches wide, and 17.25 inches deep. Cabinets "L2" shall be equal in <br />size 18 inches high, 24.50 inches wide and 17.25 inches deep. It will have a <br />sliding -restocking style door. <br />BASBWALL DOORS: <br />CABINET DOORS AND FRAMES <br />The cabinets shall have doors that follow the the standards of SAE J3058 <br />Ambulance Interior Storage Compartment Integrity. <br />The sliding cabinet doors shall be framed with a T6- 6063 aluminum frame with <br />specially designed negative angled grooves for the spring latched handles to grip <br />onto for latching. The corners of the frames shall be double keyed for stability and <br />strength. The frame shall be gasketed to prevent intrusion of liquids into the <br />cabinets. The sliding doors shall be made of 1/4" polycarbonate in either a clear, <br />grey or bronze finish as specified by the end user. The tail end of the doors shall <br />have a T6-6063 aluminum stiffener that interlocks with the mating door to give <br />additional strength against impact. The leading handle shall be spring loaded to <br />give a self latching function with the door frame groove to prevent the doors from <br />inadvertantly coming open. If the end user chooses to have the restocking feature, <br />the frame will be hinged in a minimum of two locations and a seperate spring <br />steel handle assembly shall be attached to the bottom of the cabinet to lock the <br />frame in place when shut. This handle for unlatching and opening the restocking <br />feature shall be accomplished without opening the sliding doors, from the outside <br />of the cabinet. <br />08/27/18 <br />54 <br />
