AMBULANCE PAINT WARRANTY <br />'LUSIONS AND LIMITATIONS <br />WARRANTYFA <br />L Paint coating defects, caused by customer, dealer <br />or aftermarket add-ons after vehicle delivery. <br />2. Paint problems caused by customer, dealer <br />or aftermarket application or removal of vehicle <br />graphics, including vinyl decal materials and <br />shields. <br />1 The painting, alteration, repair or equipment <br />replacement of a customer vehicle by a facility not <br />approved in advance by PL Custom Emergency <br />Vehicles Technical Services Manager. <br />4. Physical damage to the vehicle from an accident <br />or act of God. <br />5. Paint failures resulting ftom neglect, misuse or <br />abuse to the vehicle. <br />6. 'rho use of a PL vehicle for other than designed <br />intent and purpose. <br />7. Exposure to severe environmental or chemical <br />conditions such as acid rain, excessive road salt, <br />calcium chloride or other chemicals used on road <br />surfaces. <br />8. Failure of customer to provide normal, regular, <br />and customary care for the vehicle paint finish. This <br />includes, but is not limited to, routine washing and <br />cleaning of areas exposed to environmental elements <br />and chemicals as listed above. <br />9. The expense of any transportation to or from <br />such repair, facility to obtain warranty coverage shall <br />be the responsibility of the purchaser/owner of the <br />vehicle. This includes all labor, fuel, tolls, food, and <br />costs for lodging if required. <br />10. Product finishes not manufactured by PL Custom <br />such as the Chassis, mirrors or hardware finishes, <br />O.E,M paintfinishes carrythe chassis manufacturer's <br />paint warranties and are not covered by PL <br />Custom. <br />11. The exterior finish of hardware moldings, windows, <br />mirrors, lights, fiberglass caps, or otber accessories, <br />12, Damage caused by abrasion or foreign objects. <br />13, The ECK material applied during the manufacture of <br />PL products must be replaced in the event that lights, <br />trim or any exterior hardware has been removed or <br />replaced. Failure to re -apply the ECK material may <br />void both the 10-Year PL Paint Warranty and the <br />5-Year Crevice Corrosion/Dissimilar Metals Paint <br />Warranty. <br />14. This manufacturer's warranty is provided in place <br />of any and all other representations or express or <br />implied warranties including without limitation <br />any warranty of merchantabUity and/or fitness for <br />use for a particular purpose. Buyer acknowledges <br />that no other representations were made to him and <br />relied upon him and that this warranty contains the <br />exclusive remedies with respect to any failure of the <br />products to conform to the warranties Oven above <br />or as to any injury or damage arising from any <br />nonconforming products. No person is authorized <br />to make any representations of warranty on behalf <br />of PL Custom or any of its distributors other than <br />set forth in this manufacturer's warranty. Your <br />right to service and replacement of parts on the <br />terms expressly set forth herein are your exclusive <br />remedies and neither the manufacturer nor any of <br />its distributors shall be Hable for damages,wbether <br />ordinary incidental or consequential, <br />15. This paint warranty applies to newly manufactured <br />ambulances.
