The purpose <br /> of this meeting was to consider reinstat�nent of Officer Fred Hammer <br /> to his former standing on the Police De�artment, coimnunications having <br /> been received from Dr. L. Faltin who made an electro-cardiogram of Mr. <br /> �IaT;imer on March 1, and Dr. J'. R2. Gordon, �vho made a physical exomina- <br /> tion of Mr. Ha�.mer on February 22; and Lr. H. H. Rodin, under v,�hose <br /> care Officer Hrim.�er was treated for a mild attack of coronary heart <br /> disease for the past seven �veeks; and a communic�tion from Dr. Thos. <br /> B. Pauszek, Police �hysician, in �lvhich it v�as outlined that Officer <br /> Har�ner's condition was not as serious as outlined in Dr. Pauszek's <br /> Ietter of January 1� �nd that he had recovered sufficiently .to be placed <br /> back on the force and given light work for a period of six months, af- <br /> . ter which another electro-cardiograr,i should be ta_'�en as recommended by <br /> Dr. Pauszek. <br /> The Bo�rd after considerin� a1T tne recommendations, instructed <br /> `the Chief of- Poli ce -to put Offi cer na_nr.mer back on the Poli ce fbrce, <br /> sub�ect to assignment by the C11ief, and instructed the �lerk of the <br /> " Board to refund �fficer Halnmer's pay from F'ebruary 15th which •�vas form- <br /> erly deducted. <br /> The purpose of the m�etin� having been acco�nlished, adj rnment <br /> tvas had at 9:15 A."
