After discussing the matter vvith the Officers, the Bo�rd gave ins�ructions to be very care- ful on all occasions, particularl� with the Safety Car dTiving. Chief Lane advised that orders had been given that �f�'icer F'red Hammer shail present himself to Dr. Pauszek, the Police Ph�sician, for physical exa�mination before he wou�.d be �laced'back on the police farce. Applicatio�s for positions on the Police vepartment were received �'rom Stephen Starzynski and Rollan d D, Stoner, and ordered placed on file. � � � The BoaPd, recognizin� vali�nt service on the part of the vario�is Officers in the Palic�e Department -in apprehenc�ing an automobile ban- dit on Saturday morning, Feb. 5, feels that definite recognition should betaken, and. it was regularly moved, seconded, and carried that �apt.
