After discussing the matter, the <br /> Board instructed the Clerk to secure a v�lritten proposal showing <br /> definitely v�°h�t they propose to furnish and the allotivance made on <br /> second-hand cars to be turned in for consideration at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> The Chief submitted report of Nover.iber covering activities of <br /> the Police Departr�ent, which report is on file in the office of the <br /> Board of Public Safety. <br /> Application for position on the Police Department was submitted <br /> by Robert Lee Dotson and ordered placed on �'ile. <br /> Report for the month of November from the Traffic Bureau v�-as <br /> submitted and a copy furnished each member of the Board and a copy <br /> placed on �'ile. <br /> Traffic Engineer Ernest I�7iller submitted a recom�end�tion that <br /> stop signs be placea at the follo�ring intersectioris, due to inereased <br /> speed on Portage Avenue resulting from improvement of the highway: <br /> Rex Street <br /> Cushing Street <br /> California �venue <br /> Cottage Grove .F:venue <br /> � De�,f�ude �venue <br /> Angell� �:venue <br /> King Street Gt the east approach. <br /> Kinyon St. at the v�est �pproach. <br /> McCartney Street <br /> After considering this matter, ttie Board decided to concur in this <br /> reeommendation and ordered the stop signs erected. <br />
