Kresge Co. 1. 20 <br /> Office Engineers, Inc. 6.75 Radio Distributing Co. 5. 75 <br /> Peter Pirsch & Sons Co. 25.09 The Gibson Company .40 <br /> FIRE DEPARTMEI�TT - Chief Freeh present: <br /> The Fire Chief requested the privilege of purchasing a drill <br /> press at an expense of approximately �30.00 and one additional <br /> inhalator for resuscitation purposes in the Fire Department, having <br /> the approximate expense of �250.00. There being sufficient funds <br /> in the budget available for these purposes, the I3oard authorized <br /> the purchase to be made. <br /> Applicatian for position on the Fire Department v+as submitted <br /> by Earl Cutner and ordered placed on file. <br /> ELECTRICl�L DEPL�RTMEtVT - idr. �,ualls present: <br /> 1t2atters pertaining to the oper�tion oF the Electrical Department <br /> were discussed �vith Mr. �ualls. <br /> 1�4r. �,ualls stated he had conferred with the Fire Chief x�ith <br /> reference to installation of one additi�n�l fire box in the City, <br /> and they having decided upon a loc�tion for it and there being <br /> sufficient funds in the budget, it was regularly moved, seconded <br /> and carried that the purchase be made. <br /> POLICE DEPARTMENT - Chief Lane Present: <br /> The Chief recommended that a very careful investigation be <br /> made before additional motorcycles are purchased next year, as he <br /> reported tile Indian Lnachines purch�sed about a year ago had not <br /> given the satisfaction that they should have. The Clerk of the Board <br /> was directed to communicate with the Indian l�Iotorcycle Company U�ith <br /> regard to this matter. <br /> Continuation certificate covering special police o�ficer's <br /> commission in fevor of John Leader was approved by the Board. <br /> � petition signed by fourteen menbers of the Executive Doard, <br /> Studebaker Local �5, requesting that favorable consideration be <br /> given Frank Kolasar for re-appointnent to the Police Force ivas <br /> submitted to ths Board. There being no vacancies on the Force at <br /> the present time, this petition �^�as ordered placed on Pile titi-ith <br /> AlIr. Kolasar's applic�.tion. <br /> Continuation certificate covering surety bond of Fr�nk J'anko`^dski <br /> was �pproved by the Boerd. <br /> Application �'or po�ition on the Police Department v,,as submitted <br /> by Floyd C. Hummer, also Earl F. Cutner, and ordered placed on file. <br /> The Chief informed the Board that the Gill-Vorn Chevrolet <br /> Company v�ere ready to deliver a netv Safety Car to take the place of <br /> the present Accident C�r, it being maroon in color and to be painted <br />
