All members were present. <br /> PJlinutes of the previous meetin� were read and approved. <br /> R�equisitions in the Police Department numbers 921 to 930 and <br /> in the Fire Department numbers 03885 to 03900, inclusive, were <br /> approved. Bend Electric Co. 44.78 Schuyler Rose 368.11 <br /> Journal of Criminal Law 3.50 <br /> FIRE DEPkRTMF�IT - Chief Fr�eh present: <br /> The Board discussed with th.e Chief matters pertaining to the <br /> operation of his department during the past week. <br /> ELECTRICAL DII'ARTMIIVT - lJtr. �,ualls present: <br /> Mr. �,ualls reported on the operations in his department during <br /> the last week. <br /> POLICE DEPARTMF�T - Chief Lane present: <br /> The Chief submitted report of enforcement activities of the <br /> Traffic Bureau, a copy of which is on file in the office of the <br /> Board of Public Safety and a copy sent to each member of the Board. <br /> Ernest Miller, City Traffic �ngineer, reported with reference <br /> to the congestion of traffic at the Junior and Senior High Schools <br /> during the noon hour and in the early evening and submitted a <br /> solution of the matter, as outlined in his report on file in the <br /> office of the Board of Public Safety. The Board concurred in this <br /> report and gave orders to have same carried out. <br /> Applications for positions on the Police Department were <br /> presented by Earl Dickson, Donald Glen Pollom and Max J. Dobbelaere, <br /> which v�ere ordered placed on file. <br /> PIEIGHTS & PdEASURES DEPAFc'I'PJI�dT - ?�Ir. Burns present: <br /> IJIr. Burns submitted his report of the oper�tions of his depart- <br /> ment for the week ending November 6th, showing 238 inspections made. <br /> This report is on file in the office of the Board of Public Safety. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 9: 45 A.
