Fa�'ord, wnzle <br /> er.mnloyed at tne Edt�;ards Iron ;";orks, ivas u:�proved by the Board. <br /> Report of accident to Police Car No. 13 occupi.ed by Officers <br /> Barcza and Rozanski on TQay 22nd was made and, a�'ter a discussi�n of the <br /> m�tter ��,�ith the Chief, the Bo�rd issued instructions th�t all �olice <br /> of�icers entering cars shall do so from tne right-hsnd side and further <br /> that any d�a�e that is dor_e to police cars amounting to more than <br /> �5.00 the occupants of the car at tne time shall appear before the <br /> Board a� i�s next meeting. <br /> The Board issued instructions to the Chief of Police that he <br /> reauest ��'ficers Rzenka and Luczny to �pvly ior nension. They to <br /> discontinue on the Police Force on July lst but to re�nain on the �ay- <br /> roll until July 15th, the last tv:o v:�eeks bei�g considered their <br /> vacation f'or the year 1937. If this is not agree�ble to them, they are <br /> to t�Ke a pnysic�l exa�ination to justify the Board in retainin� them <br /> on the Force. <br /> Officer ;"�7iitner submitted �: list of reloading eQUiprment and <br /> supplies offered to the City for use in reloading cartridges used in <br /> target nractice, as f'rom one-hali to three-fourths of a cent can be <br /> saved on each target used by emnloying this eq_ui�ment, the reloading <br /> ar_d refillin� to be done by police of�'icers during their spare time. <br /> The entire cost to be �90.46 , ti��nich includes sufficient ingredients <br /> to load four thousand cartridges and prime twenty five hundred more. <br /> Tne Board, after carefully considering this proposal, �uthorized the <br /> nurchase to be deducted from the Police Instruction Account. <br /> Officer Ernest ?-i. n�iller sub�nitted a re�ort concerning the vGZue <br /> of e�tendin� the time of operation of tra�'fic signals af'ter midni�ht <br /> in the dotitintown district. After carefully considerin� this �a.tter, <br /> the Board ref'erred it for final dispflsition to the Chief of Police, <br />
