C�ualls present: <br /> Mr. Qualls re�orted regarding various activZties in his department. <br /> POLICE DEPl�?TPIIENT - Chief Lane �resent: <br /> The Chief discussed �^rith the Board m�tters pertainin� to the <br /> operation of the Police Department. <br /> ?��r. Ernest Miller submitted a request from the Studebaker Corp- <br /> oration to prohibit parking on the titiest side of LaFayette Street fro� <br /> Tutt Street south for a distance of 40 ft. and stated that Studebakers <br /> tvould purchase the signs and do the painting. After considering the <br /> matter, the Board decided to permit this �arkir.g restriction. <br /> Mr. Harold l�hitmer, ti�ho is in charge of taFget pr«ctice acti- <br /> vities, rec�uested that the re-loading equipment and supplies noVr the <br /> �nroperty of Officer Harold V�ilson be acc�uired by the City and that <br /> reloading of shells be done by �.n officer on the Police Force. The <br /> e�nense of this equipment and supplies to be approximately �100.00. <br /> The Bo�zrd suggested that a. detailed statement of the ecuipment and <br /> suppliES bE subrriitted for consideration at the next meeting. <br /> kp�lication for position on the Police Dena.rtzr�ent v��as submitted by <br /> Richard Arthur Stickley and ordered placed on file. <br /> V6'EIGHTS & MEASURES DEP�Tr,7ENT - T�Zr.
