V�yman & Co. 2.Op <br /> FIRE DEPARTMIIVT - Chief Freeh present: <br /> The Chief recommended that Albert Kraszewski, who was in�ured in an <br /> automobile accident on Niarch 19th, his day off, be taken from the payroll <br /> until such time as he returned to the department. It was regularly <br /> moved, seconded and ca_rried that this recomrnendation be concurred in. <br /> POI,ICE DEPARTMEI�TT - Chief Lane present: <br /> Four applications for special police cominissions were received from <br /> the Bendix Products Corporation. Before passing on these the Chie�' was <br /> requested to get in touch with the Sendix people to see if the need v:Tas <br /> sufficien.tly urgent to approve these commissions. <br /> The matter of supplying a nev. car for the Police Departr�ent or <br /> Fire Department was discussed with the two Chiefs and it was decided <br /> to purchase a new car �'or the Fire Chief and to turn over to the Health <br /> Department the Assistant Fire Chief's present Rockne. <br /> Chief Lane brought up the matter of sending Assistant Chief . <br /> Diedrich and Officer Karl Smith to Washington for a few days. to the <br /> training school now in process and which will close on Saturday. It <br /> was regularly moved, seconded and carried that fifty dollars be , <br /> appropriated for the e�-pense of' this trip. <br /> The auestion of officer's uniforms was brought up and it was <br /> decided to invite representatives of various uniform houses to a <br /> meeting v�ith the officers on Thursday, April lst, at which time the <br /> officers v�Tould determine the house from tivhom they would buy. . <br /> ELECTF.ICAL DEPARTPlIIlVT - ?�r. �ualls present: , <br /> Mr. �,ualls; discussed matters pertaining to the operation of the <br /> Electrical Department with the Board. <br /> VY�IGHTS & MEASURES DE'PARTME'�iTT - Mr. Bu rn s p re s ent: <br /> rr1r.
