The following resolution was adopted by'the Board. COPY OF VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 63,1922. Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of South Bend, Indiana: That it is desirable to vacate the following: -- The alley lying between lots 183 and 184 in the Original Plat of South Bend, Indiana from Main Street to the first alley East of Main Street. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation: Beginning at the intersection of the North line of Navarre Street and the east line of Main Street; thence north on east line of.Main Street to the second alley north of Navarre Street; thence east along said alley to the west lin a of Michigan Street; thence south on the west line of Michigan Street to, the north line of Navarre Street;,thende west on the north line of Navarre Street to the -place of begin - Notice of this resolution -shall be published on the 18th, day of AAugust 1922 and on the 25th. day of August 1922 in the South Bend Tribune and News - Times This Board at its office in the City Hall on the 6th. day of Septem or 1922 at 7:15 P.M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons inter- ested in or affected by these proceedings. Remonstrance signed by a number of resident property owners on Ewing Avenue filed with the Board in regard to damage done to the pavement on said Ewing Avenue by C. E. Staples house -mover. This remonstrance referred to the Street Commissioner for investigation and report. Petition received and referred to the Light inspector for cluster Tights on La Salle Avenue from Michigan Street to Main Street; and following report approved by the Board. I beg to recommend.there be seven light posts placed on La Salle Avenue. Three posts st the north side -and four posts on the south side of La Salle Avenue between Main Street and Michigan Street.
