<br />order°designating the kind of pavement, the Beard at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday July 25th.,
<br />1922 publicly opened read and considered all bids, and then continued their meeting
<br />to 10:00 A.M. this 26th. day of Juiry 1922.
<br />Now on last named date the Board designated Asphaltic concrete
<br />using Mexican Asphalt as the kind of pavement with which said,street is to be
<br />improved and fixes the 7th. day of August 1922 at 10:00 A.M. as the time when petiti
<br />petitions for changing t?le= rid of pzite e.nt must be .filed, and the Beard hereby
<br />continues this matter until the 8th. A. of August 1922 at 10:00 A.M. and continued
<br />sameuntil Wednesday August 9th., 1922 . On the day above named the Bord will eithe-r-
<br />pass on petitions let said contract or reject all bids.

<br />STREET OR ALLEY IMPRNEmENT RESOLUTION NO. 1018.
<br />Be It Resolved by the Board of Public Works of the City of Sout'
<br />Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana, that it is desired and, deemed necessary
<br />to improve. City Hall Court from Michigan Street to the first alley west of Michig&A
<br />Street. Also; The First alley west of Michigan Street from Colfax Avenue to
<br />La Salle Avenue as follows* to -wit:- Said alleys shall be graded and the roadway
<br />thereof shall be paved; Also the roadway of certain portions of the Streets aand
<br />alleys which enter or intersect said alleys shall be graded and paved. The paving
<br />material to be used.in making said improvement shall be Sheet Asphalt, bitulithic,
<br />asphaltic concrete, brick or Portland cement concrete seven (7) inches thick,. and
<br />the foundation shall be Portland cement concrete six (6) inchs thick for sheet
<br />asphalt, bitulithic, asphaltic concrete and brick or rolled gravel six (6) inches
<br />thick for the brick, storm water inlets and conduits shall be constructed where
<br />necessary; all si&rm water inlets and manhole tops shall be set to the proper grade;
<br />cement marginal curb shall be constructed at all -street and alley intersections where
<br />necessary, all as is more particularly shown andall in accordance with the plans,
<br />profiles, detail drawings and specifications on file in the Office of the deprtment
<br />of Public Works of the City of Sauth Bend, Indiana.
