Smith met with the Board and took up matter of garage <br />beizig built in public alley between Leland Avenue running north from Marion Street,' <br />This matter discussed and referred to the Building Commissiner to investigate. <br />Attorney S.tickland representing the Citizens Homes Company appeared <br />before the Board and ftl:6-d petitions for pipe sewer an Taylor Street and Scott Street <br />from Calvert Street ,to+ Eyaing Avenue and on, Kendall Street from Calvert Street to Ewing <br />Avenue, Resolutions were ordered an said petitions. <br />Propt.tty owners appeared and presented petition for pavement on <br />Carroll Street from Broadway to Indiana Avenue, esolution ordered an Carroll from <br />H^ney Avenue to Indiana. Avenue, Haney Avenue to Broadway deferred until sewer is built. <br />a <br />Del, C. Leer Appeared before the Board in regard to petition for <br />pavement on Leer Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue, Resolution ordered ®n <br />same, <br />Councilman Thernton appeared before the Beard and took up matter <br />of ptitions filed for lights an Ls S&114 Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue, and Kalarama St <br />and Hill Street.. The pel6 and wire inspector made the following reports. <br />js I beg'to recommend a small light be placed at the northwest earner <br />of Lea Salle Avenue and Sunnyside Avenue. CD <br />T. H. Beaning, <br />I beg te'recommend that an are light be placed at the earner of Hill <br />Street and Kalarama and remove this sma11 light to the corner of La Salle Avenue and <br />Sunnyside five. As there is a dark and da *er®us place just west of Hill Street on <br />Kalarama on account of the Hoffman' Grovel' pit. <br />T. H. Bradford approved by the Board.. <br />a <br />Partial estimate No. 1 for t e asphaltic concrete pavement on <br />Donald Street from Miami Street to Leer Street grant-d to the Williston Construction <br />Company for the sum of .$4,940.11 <br />The following communication received from W. Bend, Indiana . <br />Gentlemen: - <br />Enclosed find two petitions for asphalt pavement on Lafayette, M6Lrquette <br />and Wakewa Avenuein Navarre Place. You will note that the property owners agree that <br />the assessment may be laid against the lots opposite the park called Nokomis Park, <br />which park is private property but which is being devoted to park purposes. <br />The signers include all the owners except Mr. A. C.
