88 _ � <br /> �� <br /> A report was made by Officer �2iller regarding the location of a �� <br /> loadin�; zone at the Pie Sfiop at 202 East Washington Street. Officer S� <br /> Miller recommended that two no parking signs be placed at the south <br /> end of their building to permit them to receive coal through a windo�v <br /> in the building. The Board concurred in this and instruetions were <br /> given to establish such a laading zone� the Pie Shop to pay for signs. <br /> Officer Miller reported on the parking situation in the 100 <br /> block Vdest Monroe Street and recommended that loading zone extending <br /> from the alley to a point 30 ft. east on the south side of the street <br /> be maintained and that �the loading� zone �extending from a point 65 ft. <br /> east of the alley to a point� 105 ft. e�st of�the alley be discontinued. <br /> The Board concurred in his recommen�ation�� and-instructed the Chief. to <br /> carry same out. <br /> A reauest was presented by PJIr. W. du. Babcoek, Ford Salesman, to <br /> consider the establishnent of�parking zone at the northeast corner of <br /> Wayne and Lafayette Streets, particularly from the corner north to <br /> the filling station driveway, which is riow painted yellow, calling <br /> attention to the fact that the same location at Jefferson and <br /> I,afayette and at Washington and Lafayette permits parking. This <br /> matter was referred to the Chief of Police for investigation and <br /> recommendation. . <br /> Continuation certificates covering- bonds of special police <br /> officers vrhile in the employ of the Bendig Carporation in favor of <br /> the foZlowing xTere approved: Pau1 L.
