South Bend Central Development Area <br />(4) continued... <br />Mr. King made a motion to approve <br />Resolution No. 2420 approving and <br />accepting a counter offer for acquisition of <br />property in the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (Fat Daddy's), Mr. <br />Downes seconded the motion. The motion <br />carried on a vote of four to one with Mr. <br />Peczkowski opposed. <br />(5) Commission approval requested for <br />Authorization for Entry Upon and the <br />Temporary Use of Public Property <br />Located within the South Bend Central <br />Development Area. (NW St. <br />Joseph/Jefferson) <br />Ms. Laurent noted that REI Investments <br />would like access to the St. Joe and Jefferson <br />site to do soil boring analysis and <br />pedevelopment work before beginning <br />construction on their hotel project. Staff <br />recommends approving the request. <br />Upon a motion from Mr. Downes, seconded <br />by Mr. Blake, and unanimously carried, the <br />Commission approved the Authorization for <br />Entry Upon and the Temporary Use of Public <br />Property located within the South Bend <br />Central Development Area. <br />(6) Commission approval requested for <br />Purchase Agreement By and Between <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />and Foster A. Martin and Linda L. Martin <br />dated December 7, 2007.
