Claims, from the follo`�ing suppliers, in the amount of <br /> �27.58 rJere approved and ordered paid. <br /> Tdo. Ind. Fublic Service Co. �1.00 G. E. IY�eyer & Son, Inc. �1.91 <br /> 1��Zine Safety ��ppliances 3.69 Recreation �quip. Qualls. <br /> FIRE DEPARTnIENT - Chi ef Freeh pre sent: � <br /> The Chief requested the privilege of purchasing a cher�ically <br /> treated blanket at a cost of �15.00 for z��rapping around persons on <br /> fire. The Board granted permission to make this purchase. <br /> The Board received resignation as a member of the rire Department <br /> of �dvaard Tohulka as of kugust 16, 1936. This, by regular motion, <br /> seconded and carried, ti�as accepted and the Board gave instructions to <br /> retain Ld��ard Tohulka on the payroll until September lst, the last t�,o <br /> y�eeks being considered his vacation for the year. <br /> It vaas regularly moved, seconded and carried that Frank Roytek <br /> of the Radio �larm Station be transferred to the I+'ire Department, <br /> effective September 1, 1936, subject to physieal examination by the <br /> Police and Fire Physician and Pension Physician, assignment of duties <br /> by the Fire Chief, and under probation for six month_ period. <br /> POLICE DEPARTI�TENT - Chief Lane present: <br /> P:s. r,mil Sharp , eonducting Used Car i;iarket at the corner of Garst <br /> and South i:iain Streets, appeared b�fore the Board and requested <br /> permission to display cars in the parkway at that address. Af'ter a <br /> full discussion of the �atter, the Board granted irir. Sharp permission <br /> , to display a maximtun o� six cars, provided license plates are shov�n. <br /> rIEIGHTS & P��r1SUR�S DEPARTP�:9IlvT - Itx. 3urns present: <br /> l.�r.
