Fire <br /> De�artment in line iF�ith previous action of the Board, report ��aas <br /> received from the City Sur�eon �rhich iF�as as follovrs: <br /> Ed��rard Tohulka - Tdot recomr�ended on aceount of hi�h blood pressure <br /> and diabetes. <br /> y'lilliam C. Bernhardt - Tdot recomraended on account of hioh blood <br /> pressure , diabetes and enlarged inguinal rin�. <br /> � � Au�ust �Jalinski - I�o recom�endation exceptin� to have re-check <br /> � made by Pension Fund Physician. <br /> �lfred 0. Lentz - 1�0 recommendation excepting to have re-check <br /> made by Pension Fund Physician. <br /> 1�iton Sroda - No recommendation excepting to have re-check <br /> made by Pension Fund Physieian. <br /> John Borkoivski - r�o recor:LTnendation exceptin� to have re-check <br /> raade by Pension I�Znd Pnysician. <br /> After fully considering this report, the Board gave instructions to <br /> notif y the first t��ro mentioned to report at the next meeting of the <br /> Board to discuss the question of taking advantage of pension <br /> privileges rather than continuing in the service of the City. The <br /> follotiving letter i�ras �.ritten to each of these firemen: <br /> "The result of your examination by the City Surgeon recently <br /> develops the fact that your physical condition is not such that you <br /> can give the City the best possible service as a fireman. <br /> This �atter ���as carefully discussed by the Board at its last <br /> meeting and it ;�as decided at that time that you be requested to <br /> appear before the Board on i:ionday, July 27th, at 9: 00 A. :��2. f'or the <br /> purpose of determinin� ti�hether or not your services should be <br /> continued as a fire7��an or if it v�ould be best for you to take <br /> advantage of your pension privileges to �hich you are entitled." <br /> The last four mentioned �rere reouested to report to the Pension <br /> Physician, Dr. R. L. Sensenich for re-check. The folloyrinJ letter <br /> r,as directed to the�: <br /> �'The result of your examination by the City Sur�eon, Dr. Pauszek, <br /> sho�red some irregularities in your physical condition, and after <br /> thorou�hly considering the matter the Board d.ecided to request you to <br /> have a further check made by Dr. R. L. Sensenich, I'ension Physician. <br />
