15-9- <br />Wednesday Nky 31st., 1 <br />Board met in regular session at 7:15 P.M. All members present. <br />This being the date, set for deferred hearing on resolution for pipe sewer <br />on Kessler Blvd. and Rose Street. Attorney Gillom appeared and represented property cwners <br />and objected verbally to. con.necting sewer to Beale Street, Dr. Vaughan appeared for sewer, <br />the Board after hearing all parties interested.deferred said meeting until Wednesday June <br />7th., 1922 at 7:15P.M. <br />The matter'of petition on South Michigan Street from Donmoyer Avenue to <br />City Limits type of pavement was discussed, John Tasher and Farneman and other property <br />owners appeared and stated to the Board that all parties signinBapetition for concrete <br />pavement wanted same. The Board awarded the contract to H. N.. rnes as follows to <br />for $19,812.40 <br />Concerning the improvement of the roadway of Michigan Street from South <br />line of Donmoyer Avenue to City Limits in pursuance to Resolution No. 961 the petition <br />of freeholders residing on said street is considered, and the report of the City Engineer <br />is received and all evidence is heard, and the Board finds that said petitioners constitute <br />a majority in number of the freeholders residing upon said street to be.improved,'that said <br />petition is sufficient and it is therefore considered, and adjudged that said* improvement be <br />made with concrete the kind of pavement requested in said petition; and Vie City Engineer <br />reports that H. N. Barnes is the lowest and best bidder for said kind of pavement, and the <br />Board so finds, and lets the contract for said improvement to him, and orders said improvement <br />be made with concrete and all proceedings heretofore had in this matter are hereby confirmed <br />and ratified.
