Co. 1.15 City Vdater �"�orks 422.33 <br /> FIRE DEPARTMEN2 - Chief Freeh present: <br /> The ChieP requested the privilege of purchasing at this time <br /> 1000 ft. of fire hose for the Fire llepartment and, there being <br /> sufficient appropriation, he v�as authorized to make the purchase. <br /> The Fire Chief submitted estimated cost of repairs to chemical <br /> vrhieh gaould put the apparatus in useable eondition. The estimated <br /> eost being �61.00. There being sufficient funds in the appropriation <br /> for this work, he v�as authorized to have the repairs made. <br /> EZECTRICAI� DEPARTI�NT - �+Ir. Qualls present: <br /> Mr. ualls requested privilege to purchase one arc welder as <br /> addition 1 equipment in the �lectrical Departnent at a cost of �29.50. <br /> There b ing sufficient appropriation to cover this item, he �aas <br /> author ed to make the purehase. <br /> The question of hazard to linemen ��as fully discussed �rith <br /> PJlr. Qualls and, due to extreme dangers, �r. Qualls vras authorized to <br /> purchase f'our volt metera, giving the men an opportunity to test <br /> lines ti^ith vrhich they come in contact. Guaranty Company in <br /> favor of Ernest H. ��iller, recently appointed police officer, was <br /> approved by the Board. <br /> Communication from ki. E.
