25� <br /> Edward '1�Jilko�vit�, City Fireman, having been released from active duty <br /> because of physical disability, and havin� been accepted for pension by <br /> the Trustees of the Firemens Pension Fund, is placed on pension effective <br /> C�ctober 16, 1943 <br /> It �rras the decision of the Board that Firemen rvho do duty as Traffic <br /> Policemen during the football season, should be granted one half days pay. <br /> ' This being the date set for opening bids on the various items required <br /> by the Fire Department, on 1rhich letters were sent to dealers, all bids <br /> received were opened by �:r. Levy. PJir. Glazebrook was present vrhile bids <br /> 'l�rere read. Bids on ladders were received from the r�7idwest Fire Equipment <br /> Compan�, William Glazebrool� and The �rnerican LaFrance-Foamite Corpora�ion; <br /> Bids on the Booster Tank were received from �idwest Fire Equipment Company <br /> • �and the American-LaFrance-Foamite ��orporation; Bids on the Turret Nozzle <br /> tivere received from the r�Iidti�lest Fire Equipment Company, 4'dilliam Glazebrook <br /> and the American-LaFrance-Foamite Corporation; Bid on the Power Light <br /> �Generator v�ras received from the �merican-LaFrance-Foarmite Corporation. <br /> The Board directed the Fire Chief to tabulate the bids and action �ill be <br /> taken on them at the ne�t meeting. <br /> 'NEIGHTS AND I�dEASURES: P�ir.
