Donnelly, Sr. <br /> (IN); and The Honorable United States Senator Todd C. Young (IN); and <br /> Whereas, Honeywell is a corporation with deep roots and a long history as a <br /> valued employer in our community; and <br /> Whereas, Honeywell — a defense contractor that has received $3.4 billion in <br /> federal contracts from the Trump Administration— is shipping work from the <br /> South Bend plant to Turkey which runs counter to President Trump's commitment <br /> to keep jobs in the United States; and <br /> Whereas, Honeywell has elected to end its long-standing commitment to provide <br /> health care coverage to 4,700 retirees from this facility; and <br /> Whereas, these most recent actions come after Honeywell forced its workforce <br /> onto the street in a 10-month lockout in 2016-17, and <br />
