<br />Hearing had Qn resolution for Grade, curb and walk on Calvert
<br />Street from Michigan Street to Main Street, under Improvement Resolution No. 944. In the
<br />City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearin a remonstrator appppeared and requested that curb and

<br />tion denied sai re uest and being u y advised in the premises, decides that the benefits
<br />to property liable to be assessed for said improvementsare equal to the estimatef cost

<br />confirmed and approved.

<br />from Linden Avenue to Washington Street, in the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing. Mr. Glennon, Special Tax Agent J, J. Jerome ftd
<br />Mr. Anderson, Engineers For the News Yprk Central R. R. Co. appeared ana verbally remon-
<br />straled against aid improvement, but no written remonstrdnce was filed. And the Board
<br />being fully advised in the premises, decides that the benefits to property liable to be
<br />assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimate cost of the segme, as reported by the
<br />City Engineer, and -thereupon takes final action on said resolution as originally adopted and
<br />and the same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved. -
<br />Resolved further, that notices be published on the 31st. day of March
<br />1922 and on the 7th. day of April 1922 in the South Bend News Times and South Bend Tribune
<br />stating that this Board will gdveive bids for the construction of' said improvements up to
<br />10:00 A.M. Tuesday April 18th., 1922. The -Board reserves the right to reject any arse all

<br />44 feet -south of the south Iine of Washington Avenue to the north line of Washington
<br />Avenue to the north line of Washington Avenue from Sunnysdde Avenue to the east line of
<br />Jacob Street, under improvement Resolution No., 943. In the City of South Bend, Indiana.
<br />Upon said hearing no remonstrators.apppared and no written remonstrance
<br />was filed. And the Board being fully advised in the premises, de-cides that the ebenefits
<br />to property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimated cost
<br />of the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes Final action on.said
<br />resolution as,orig-Anally adopted, and.the.same is hereby in all things, ratified, confirmed

<br />Upon said hearng no remonstrators appeared and no written remonstrance

<br />property liable to be assessed for said improvements are equal to the estimatedc cost of
<br />the same, as reported by the City Civil Engineer, and thereupon takes final action on

<br />Street from a point 40 feet north of the north line of Fairview Street Is South to City
<br />Limits, in the City of South Bend, Indiana:.

<br />Upon said hearing no written remonstrance was filed but a number of
<br />interested -property owners appeared. R. R. Smith Mice President and General M r. of the
<br />Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana Railway Company appeared and stated to he Board that
<br />the CRicago, South Bend & Northern I diana Ry. Company had surrendered their franchise,
<br />but he would submit a proposition for his comppany in regard to certain work they would do
<br />where their tracks were in Michigan Street. Mr. John Ta.sher appeared and requested that
<br />that part of pavement south of Donmoyer Avenue be put in under a separate resolution, also
<br />the matter of plilt Mg --inl-a + twerxtyo four foot pavement south of Donmoyer Avenue instead of an
