12 <br />Tuesdey March 7th., 1922. <br />Board met in regular.session at 10:00 A.M. All members present. <br />Pole and Wire Inspector Beaning appeared before the Board and <br />filed the following recommendations for lights. <br />I recommend an Are light on,Southwest corner of Wayne Street and <br />Francis Street on a 12 ft. mast arm. Same approved by the Board., <br />Councilman --Hardman appeared before the -Board with a.property <br />owner in regard to lights anal water in Vernon Heights Addition. The Board advised <br />Councilman Hardman to take up water petitions with the Water Board Wednesday March 8th. <br />1922 and to file petitions for lights and same would be investigated. <br />Petition filed for gradigg and sidewalk and curb of Nest Bergan . <br />Street from Portage Avenue to North Olive Street si nea bJ. M. Warwick 1819 W. Bergan <br />Street. F. L. Lockwood Bergan Street and Albert G. ode 2601 W. Bergan Street and <br />letter as follows attached. Petition placed on.file and a deed for Bergen Street to <br />be submitted. <br />Copy of letter. <br />Board of Public Works. <br />The William O.-Jackson estate stand ready <br />at all times to by proper deeds of conveyance or by dedication place in the name of <br />the City any or all streets in the proposed plat of the Jackson subdivision. <br />FILED F. Kelsy appeared before the Board and presented petition <br />for pavement on Leer Street from Calvert Street to Ewing Avenue. The same placed on <br />filed to be held until Finacial conditions permit consideration. <br />Attorney Lenn J. Oare representing the H. A. good Realty Company <br />appeared before the Board and presented a motion to have order of the Board of- <br />February 28th.9 regarding the vacation of the five feet of the south side, of Laiionte <br />Terrace this City rescinded and cited various cases on law regarding same INTO action <br />taken, o m91,19n-,,_and , the..Board advised , Attorney Oare that they would have ihis ':,later <br />referred to the City Autorney for an opinion. <br />City Engineer took up the matter of selling the old blue print <br />machine for $25.00. Same approved by the Board. <br />Mr. Sotthworth.of the Chicago, South Bend & Northern Indiana <br />Railway Company @,ppeared before the Board in regard to permission to put in a feeder. <br />line out to the south part of the City, and requested to go on the Indiana ,& Michigan <br />Elea. Co. poles and not to set a separate line of poles. Deferred a week to work <br />up a new route and report Tuesday March 14th., 1922 at 10:00 A.M. <br />The following bid was submitted by tkz Geo. H. Wheellock Co. <br />on electrical fixture on No. 4 Hose Rouse. <br />3 0 -4-22 <br />Board of Public Works, <br />City Hall, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />Gentlemen: - <br />Following is <br />for the No. 4 Hose House; <br />a list of the fixtures which we propose to furnish <br />Cart Room- <br />4 #3870 1 lt. fixture. <br />6 chain peed. large shade. <br />Toilet (1) <br />l ceiling socket pull chain. <br />Hall- <br />1 Band & Ball. <br />Bed R: <br />1 2 E.
