Board met in special session at 11`30 A.M. All members present. <br />The Board had up for discussion sallries and payrolls of the Ya,ricu s� <br />die.Dartnients ,of .the Board of Public Works. <br />The salary of the Clerkof the Board was increased from $900.00 per <br />year to $1,000.00 per year from November-lst ,1915. <br />South Bend, Ind. Nov.10,,1915. <br />WHEREAS3 one E.L.Abbott did purchase from the City of South Bend <br />v Indiana for the consideration of $1.00 the following described property: <br />All of lot 9 Block 6 Range 2.West in the City Cemetery of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, and, <br />'WHEREAS, said E.L.Abbott.sole owner of the above described property <br />having lost the deed for said lot now, THEREFORE, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works of said City, that the <br />Mayor of said City be and he is hereby instructed to issue a duplicate deed to said <br />E.A.Abbott for said described property. <br />ATTESTED: — <br />Veronica C. Rice absent. <br />Mr. Frank of the Indiana, & Michigan Elea. Company met with the Board <br />4`and checked up list of lights. <br />Board ordered lights Nos. 719 and 845 which were 60 C.P. and 80 C.P. <br />t-respectively should be changed to 100 L.P. respectively. <br />Board instructed Clerk to notify Central Union Tel. Co. to remove pole <br />at rear of 210 South Taylor Street north to the property line as same is -in way of garage. <br />American Telephone & Telegraph Col granted permission to replace 35 <br />/ft pole(orstub) with a 45 ft. pole(or stub) and moving west to rear corner of the Eaglet , <br />Bldg. now under construction, and replacing your present anchor with an anchor a 'dis- <br />tanee of 15 ft. east of mentioned pole to-faciliate with the construction of the fire <br />escape of said building. The above pole and wire being located in the alley between LaSalle <br />Ave. and Madison St. west off of Michigan Street, also to replace the first four poles north <br />of the M.C.R.R. on the east side of Leeper Ave. with taller poles (50 to60 ft-poles) <br />and replace one anchor 20 ft. south of first pole north of M.C.R.R. and one anchor 20 <br />ft. north of tn.e second pole north of M.C.R.R. poles and anchors to be located clost to <br />curb between walk and curb line. <br />President <br />
