■ 85 <br />Board met in regular session at 7:45 P.H. All members present. <br />Hearing had on assessment roll and final estimate for Pipe sewer on <br />Boorman Street .from Bowman Creek Trunk sewer to a point 1W feet east of the east line <br />of Michigan_Street, In the City of South Bend, Indiana.. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were <br />filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed <br />September 21st.91915* is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls <br />and the Board further finds that the assessment roll filed September 21st.,1915. and the <br />final estimate allowed September 21st.91915 shou.ld be and -the same are hereby in all <br />things ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Hearing had or. assessment roll anti fianl estimate for Asphaltic Concrete <br />r pavement on North Michigan Street from Foote Street to south end of the Michigan Street <br />bridge also intersection at north end of Michigan Street bridge, Under Improvement <br />Resolution No. 3904 In tble City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />In the above matter no remonstrators appeared and no remonstrances were. <br />filed. The Board therefore find that the property assessed in said rolls filed Octo er <br />5th.11915. is benefitted in the amount of assessments as shown on said rolls, and the <br />Board furthr find that the assessment rolls filed October 5th.,1915. and the final <br />estiate allowed October 5th.,1915. should be and the same are hereby in all things <br />ratified, confirmed and approved. <br />Engineer filed assessment roll and final estimate for Macadam <br />Pavement on Tecumseh Avenue from Wakewa Avenue to Pokagon Street, Under I mprovement <br />Resolution No. 374. In the City of South Bend, Indiana. <br />Resolved, that notices as to the amounts of assessments -be published for <br />six conseeftiee days in the South Bend Daily Tribune, commencing on the 18th. day of <br />October,1915 stating that this Board vd ll give a hearing on the amount of such assess- <br />ments at its office in the City Hall on the 26th. day of Oetober,1915 at 7:45 P.M. <br />Resolved fftther, that the entire work undee r the above contract.be <br />accepted and approved and the final estimate thereon allowed. Notice of this resolution <br />shall be published on the ISth. day of Uctober 1915 in the South Bend Daily Tribune <br />stating that this Board will give a hearing on the acceptance of such work at its office <br />in the City Hall on the 26th. day of October,1915. at 7:45 P.M. <br />In regard to contract for curb and pavement on Bartlett Street from <br />E. line of St. Joseph Street to Riverside Drive, the awarding of same was deferred until <br />'Satu ?day0ctober 23rd.. ,1915. at 1f1 00 'A;X. as per resolution adopted by the Board. <br />Clerk instructed to notify City Attorney Seebirt to draw up waivers <br />on the above improvement. <br />In regard to petition and form of contract for sign track in the alley <br />on the east side of Vandalia Railroad Company between Sample and Garst Street in this <br />City signed by Jacob Reamer by Oare and Geyer Attys for petitioner, the Board rejected <br />this by unanimous consent. <br />Street Commissioner reported that at 215 S. Fox Street Klepper Bros. <br />were building a house and .are now filling Bowman Creek at that point. In the creek bed <br />V they are covering an 18" tile. <br />The Clerk was instructed to write to Kneapper and Knepper and notify <br />them that as this wa,s a natural water course that they must remove said obstruction at <br />once. <br />Mr. Gordon representing the Union Trust Company appeared before the <br />Board in regard to removing lamp, on iron post at southeast corner of Michigan Street <br />�- and Jefferson Streetp as the same interfered with the foundation of.new building <br />a t this point.- The Clerk Ordered to write to Indiana & Michigan Elea. Co. and <br />notify them to remove said lamp. <br />
