NAiINDIANA. <br />Sewer, Water and (',.as Connections on Keasey Street from Michigan Street to Carroll Street. <br />To the Honorable Council, <br />Gentlemen:— The Board of Public Works herewith represents its report, for the <br />following sewer, gas and -water connections. <br />BOARD OR PUBTjIC T RKS. <br />E. k. MORRIS., <br />RESOLUTION OF THE BOAROF PUBLIC ARKSPresident. <br />. <br />On motion duly made and seconded, the following preamble and resolutions were <br />unanimously adopted: <br />WHEREAS, This Board did on the 31st. day of Au;ust,lla deeM it expedient and <br />of public utility to permanently improve Keasey Street between Michigan and Carroll St. by <br />paving the roadway ©f the same, and did on said date pass and adopt a resolution authorizing <br />said permanent improvement, and <br />WHEREAS, The City Engineering has prepared and filed with t :is Board a report <br />showing the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the manner of laying <br />the same, of the ser ice pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and m nnections which are, or will <br />be, necessary to accommodate the a utting property owners with gas, grater, hest, steam of <br />any other product for which arrj person, firm or CO-poration has been granted a franchise for <br />supplying the ,citizens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, wb i ch report is - s follows <br />BE IT RESOLVED, That said report o 1.' said City Engineer be and is ,hereby adopted* <br />And be i`, further Resolved, That it is coy.- emplated by this Boa„d to improve Keasey Street <br />from Michigan Street to Carroll Street all in said City of South Bend, by construction of <br />a pavement, and that it is, and is hereby so declared necessary for the Northem Indiana Gas <br />and Electric Company, which had, and operates under, a franchise from said city to supply <br />gas to the citizens of said City, to provide and install mains, laterals, service pipes and <br />connections for gas in said part of said street, of the description, location and number set <br />forth in said report of said City Engineer, which mains, service pipes and connections are <br />-Hereby declared necessary for the immediate use of -said Company in supplying gas to theowners <br />of property abutting upon said part of said street. <br />BOARD OF PUBLIC 10 RKS. <br />President. <br />
