RESOLUTION NO. 1045 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION APPROVING A PROPOSED LEASE BETWEEN THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AND THE SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION FOR CERTAIN LAND AND PIIBLIC <br />IMPROVEMENTS, SETTING A PIIBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED <br />LEASE PURSUANT TO IC 36 -7 -14 -25.21 AND AUTHORIZING <br />PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF THE PIIBLIC HEARING <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the <br />"Authority ") on March 26, 1992, adopted a resolution indicating <br />its intent to issue its South Bend Redevelopment Authority taxable <br />lease rental revenue bonds to finance the acquisition of certain <br />land and a building located thereon, more commonly known as the <br />Palais Royale (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, on March 26, 1992, the Authority adopted a <br />resolution approving a proposed lease between the Authority and <br />the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission ") for the <br />lease of the Project; and <br />WHEREAS, the Authority has filed the proposed lease with <br />the Commission, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission desires to approve the proposed <br />lease and publish notice of public hearing and conduct a public <br />hearing on the proposed lease pursuant to IC 36 -7 -14 -25.2; and <br />WHEREAS, after the public hearing, the Commission may <br />adopt a resolution pursuant to IC 36 -7 -14 -25.2 authorizing the <br />execution of the proposed lease on behalf of the City of South Bend <br />
