August l8th..1915. Board met in special session at 11:00 A.M. All members present. Representatives of the South Bend Home Telephone Company and. of the Central Union Telephone Company appeared before the Board. Mrs, E. C. Daicey of the South Bend Home Telephone Company agreed with the Central Union Telephone Compan*'s representative that they should build the line on Michigan Avenue from Wilber Street to Olive Street and that they 'should send hime a bill Or his one third and he would pay same Mr. Daicey of the South Bench Home Tel. Company agreed to confirm this by letter both to the Board of Public Works and the Central Union Telephone Company. President. Thursday August 19th.91915. The Board met in special session, Mr. J. B. Weber absent, The Following lights were ordered placed by the Board. Indiana and Michigan Elec. Co. ordered to place lights at the following `1 locations. A 80 C.P. Light in the 1st. alley east of High St, on Bowman St. A 90 C.P. light on Ernsperger Street Pbout one half way between Lincoln Play east and the Ernspergizr Street bridge. -Also-ordered arc. light lowered on the Frnsperger Street bridge so Ithat the lamp will hang just below cross beams on the bridge. A 90 C.P. light at the corner of Walsh and Madison Street, or on the lst. pole just east thereof. A 80 C.P.light at the corner of South Fellows St. and E. Donlad St. An Are light at the corner of Ewing Avenue and Carroll Sts. A 60 C.P. light at the corner of Kirby and Paris St. A 60 C.P. light at the corner of 'lildreth and Clover Sts. Also request said company to turn on the lights an the Lafayette Street Blvd and East Je-'ferson Blvd. as this had been called to their attention in the past and insist that the contract executed sometime ago must be fulfilled. The Board ordered that the Welsbach Street Lighting Company of America was ordered notified to placed lights at the following �ldcaiions. Gas light at the corner of l8th. St. and Wall St.,, 0 at the corner o 9th. St. and Wall St. , " M at the corner ff Sth. St. and Hastings St. M at the corner of 17th. St. and Vine Street.
