REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 7, 2011 364 Easement Society, Easement Regarding Agreement Greater Faith Parking at LaSalle Fellowship, Square Inc., St. Joseph County Public Library, and Hamstra Builders, Inc. APPROVAL OF LICENSE APPLICATION RENEWAL FOR PUBLIC PARKING FACILITIES Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of a License Application renewal for AMPCO System Parking for parking facilities located at: 0 111 South Michigan 0 123 North Main Street 0 123 North St. Joseph Street 0 226 South Main Street 0 322 South Lafayette Boulevard 0 211 North Lafayette Boulevard 0 117 South William Street 0 126 North Main Street 0 121 East Wayne Street 0 225 South Main Street 0 121 South St. Joseph Street Favorable recommendations were received from Code Enforcement, Fire Department and Community and Economic Development. Engineering stated that a repair needs to be trade on the sidewalk at the hand hole at the 121 East Wayne Street lot and the uneven sidewalk and concave caps need to be repaired at 121 South St. Joseph. Mr. Littrell noted these repairs were never made from the prior year. Therefore, upon a motion made by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the License Application Renewal was approved subject to the trip hazards being repaired. Mr. Gilot stated if the repairs are not done, the business owner needs to be cited. He added if they still aren't repaired, the City will need to make the repairs and get reimbursed from the property owner. He noted a lien may need to be placed on the owner's property. APPROVAL OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF TRANSIENT MERCHANT LICENSE Mr. Gilot stated that the Board is in receipt of an application from Downtown South Bend, Inc., on behalf of several merchants for a renewal of their blanket license for the yearly downtown "pop-up" shops located at 122, 132, 140 and 123 South Michigan Street during the holiday season. Favorable recommendations were received from the Building Department, Fire Department and Police Department. Upon a motion made by Mr. Inks, seconded by Mr. Littrell and carried, the renewal of the License Application was approved. APPROVAL OF 2012 BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS SCHEDULE Upon a motion by Mr. Gilot, seconded by Mr. Inks and carried, the following 2012 Board of Public Works Regular Meeting and Claims Review Schedules were approved: Location: Board of Public Works Meeting Room 1308 County-City Building South Bend, Indiana 46601 Agenda Items Due Agenda Review Meetings Regular Meeting Tuesdays, 12:00 p.m. Thursdays, 10:30 a.m. Mondays, 9:30 a.m. January 3 January 5 January 9 January 17 1 January 19 January 23 February 7 February 9 February 13 February 21 February 23 February 27
