CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING AUGUST 7, 2018 236 <br />1 <br />1 <br />I <br />A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:04 a.m. on Tuesday, <br />August 7, 2018, by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik, with Board Members Therese Dorau, and <br />James Mueller present. Board President Gary Gilot and Board Member <br />Suzanna Fritzberg were absent. The meeting was held in the 13th Floor Boardroom, County -City <br />Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. <br />APPROVE CLAIMS <br />Ms. Dorau stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully <br />supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and <br />the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Dorau stated <br />the following claims were submitted to the Board for approval: <br />Name <br />Amount of Claim <br />Date <br />City of South Bend <br />$6,497,403.04 <br />07/31/2018 <br />City of South Bend <br />$1,926,070.45 <br />08/07/2018 <br />Therefore, Ms. Dorau made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be approved <br />as submitted.
