REPORT OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. Of the City of Soutk Bendt Indiana. Seger, .Waterand Gas Connections on Hamden Court from LaSalle, Avenue to first alley North. ' To the Honorable Council. Gentlemen:- The Board of Public Works herewith presents its report for the following sewer, ga's and water connections. ' BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS. RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC 'MRKS. On motion duly made and seconded, the following preamble and resolutions. were unanimously adopte4t• WHEREAS. This Board did on the 4th. day of May,1915 deem it expedient and of public utility to permanently improve Hamde Court between La Salle Avenue and lst alley north by paving the roadw y of the same, and did on said date pass and adopt a resolution authorizing said permanent improvement, and Bhereas. The City Eggineer has prepared and filed with .this Board a re- port showing the number and location, as well as the material to be used and the amn- ner of laying the same, of the service pipes, mains, conduits, laterals and connections which are, or will be necessary to accommodate the abutting property owners with gas, water, heat, steam or any other product for which any person, firm of corporation has been granted a franchise for su pplying the citzens of the City of South Bend, Indiana, which report is as follows:- REPORT REFERRED TO SHOWING. That said report of said City Engineer be and is hereby adopted. And be it further resolved, that it is contemplated by this Board to im- prove Hamden Court °from La Salle Avenue to the first alley north, by pavement, and that it and is hereby so declared, necessary for the Northern Indiana Gas & Electric Company which has, and operates under, a franchise from said City to supply gas to the citizens of said City, to provide and install mains, laterals, service pipes and connections for gas' in said part of said street, of the description, location and number set forth in said report of said City Engineer, which mains, service pipes and connections are hereby de- A Glared necessary for the immediate use of said Company in supplying gas to the owl.ers of property abutting upon said part of said street.
