ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br /> BEND, INDIANA APPROPRIATING$250,000 FOR MAINTENANCE OF <br /> ALONZO WATSON PEDESTRIAN BRDGE <br /> TRAVERSING CHAPIN AVENUE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND IN 2011 <br /> STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br /> A project pertaining to maintenance of City infrastructure assets has been <br /> identified of interest and benefit to the City of South Benda This is the maintenance of <br /> the Alonzo Watson Pedestrian Bridge traversing Chapin Avenue in the City of South <br /> Bend. <br /> It is necessary to appropriate the funds to make this maintenance expenditure. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA as follows: <br /> Section I. The sum of$250,000.00 is hereby appropriated and set aside within <br /> COIT Fund 4404 for purposes of maintenance of the Alonzo Watson Pedestrian Bridge, <br /> Section II.
