Mr. Schalliol responded that <br /> the way the project was originally proposed, <br /> it was going to be done by the City. Then it <br /> was going to be done by a private group. <br /> And then the City got back involved to build <br /> it. At a point, the triangle was given to Rose <br /> Brick which is where the principal amount of <br /> the plaza sits. Apparently now there are tax <br /> and insurance issues. J. R. Wood has been <br /> asked to insure the statue at his expense and <br /> he doesn't want to do that. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FOR <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES RELATED TO JAMES <br /> Commission approved the proposal for OLIVER MEMORIAL IN THE OLIVER INDUSTRIAL <br /> PARK IN THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT OF <br /> professional services related to James Oliver $14,000. <br /> Memorial in the Oliver Industrial Park in the <br /> not to exceed amount of$14,000. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION AUTHORIZED DON INKS TO SIGN <br /> Ms. King and unanimously carried, the ANY DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE REPLAT <br /> Commission authorized Don Inks to sign any <br /> documents related to the replat. <br /> 22 <br />
