Airport Economic Development Area <br /> (2) continued... <br /> Before demolition specs can be written for <br /> the properties, an asbestos inspection report <br /> must be completed for each of them. <br /> The Commission previously approved 41 <br /> properties to have asbestos reports <br /> completed. Because of nearby houses not yet <br /> under Commission ownership, only 24 of <br /> those 41 were authorized for demolition. It is <br /> anticipated that once these asbestos reports <br /> are completed, most of the remaining 26 <br /> structures will be bid out for demolition. <br /> Grauvogel& Associates, who completed <br /> asbestos reports for many of the original 41 <br /> properties, provided a proposal for the nine <br /> remaining properties in the amount of <br /> $2,930. Staff requests approval of this <br /> Professional Services Agreement with <br /> Grauvogel & Associates. <br /> Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by COMMISSION APPROVED THE PROPOSAL FOR A <br /> Mr. Varner and unanimously carried, the PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH <br /> Commission approved the proposal for a GRAUVOGEL&AsSOCIATES RELATED TO NINE <br /> PROPERTIES IN THE AIRPORT ECONOMIC <br /> professional services agreement with DEVELOPMENT AREA IN THE AMOUNT OF <br /> Grauvogel& Associates related to nine $2,930. <br /> properties in the Airport Economic <br /> Development Area in the amount of$2,930. <br /> (3) Request authorization to pursue <br /> amendment to the Airport Economic <br /> Development Area Development Plan. <br /> (Adding properties to the Acquisition List) <br /> Mr. Sikora noted that staff is requesting <br /> permission to begin the statutory process to <br /> 19 <br />
