South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Regular Meeting — October 25, 2011 <br />A. Receipt of Bids for Parking Management <br />Mr. Inks opened the seven bid packets received <br />from SP Plus Municipal Services, Republic <br />Parking, Denison Parking, DTSB, CPS Parking, <br />AMPCO System Parking, Memorial Hospital & <br />Health System and they were passed to legal to <br />review compliance in fulfilling requirements. <br />Upon review by legal, bid packets will be referred <br />to Redevelopment Staff for bid recommendation. <br />Upon a motion by Ms. King, seconded by Mr. <br />Downes and unanimously carried, the Commission <br />approved to refer all bids received for parking <br />management to legal and staff to assure proposals <br />meet standards and make recommendations. <br />B. Public Hearing <br />(1) Public Hearing on Resolution No. 2944 <br />appropriating monies for the purpose of <br />defraying the expenses of certain local <br />public improvements for the fiscal year <br />beginning January 1, 2011 and ending <br />December 31, 2011, including all <br />outstanding claims and obligations, fixing <br />a time when the same shall take effect <br />(Redevelopment Retail). <br />Mr. Inks noted that the public hearing file is <br />complete, containing a copy of the Notice of <br />Hearing; a copy of Resolution No. 2944, the <br />subject of the public hearing; an affidavit <br />from Jacki Krolczyk, advertising Director of <br />the South Bend Tribune, and Richard <br />Andrysiak, Classified Manager of the Tri- <br />County News that the Notice of Hearing was <br />published in those newspapers on <br />October 14, 2011. <br />Ms. Jennings noted that there is a revised <br />5 <br />COMMISSION APPROVED TO REFER ALL BIDS <br />RECEIVED FOR PARKING MANAGEMENT TO <br />LEGAL AND STAFF TO ASSURE PROPOSALS MEET <br />STANDARDS AND MAKE RECOMMENDATIONS. <br />
