Eddy Street, South Bend. The meeting was called to <br /> order at 3:35 p.m. by South Bend Common Council Member at Large Member AI <br /> "Buddy" Kirsits. <br /> Mr. Kirsits welcomed everyone in attendance and asked that everyone introduce <br /> themselves. Attendees included: Saint Joseph County Police Officers Sheriff Mike <br /> Grzegorek, Dean Chandler and Eric Tamashasky, Holy Cross College Representative <br /> Dan Cochran, Indiana University Representative Jeff Jones, University of Notre Dame <br /> Representatives Brian Coughlin, Maureen Doyle, Patrick McCormick, Tim Sexton, <br /> Claire Sokas, and Student Body Vice-President Brett Rocheleau, South Bend <br /> Community School Corporation Representative Jasmine Brown, Robinson Center Adult <br /> Program Coordinator Marguerite Taylor, Mark Kramer of .Kramer Properties, Sean <br /> Conley of Campus Housing, Stephen Hays of Wooded Estates Neighborhood <br /> Association, Neighborhood Resident Kyle Chamberlin, Harter Heights, South Bend <br /> Police Uniform Chief Jeffrey Walters, City of South Bend Employees, Assistant City <br /> Attorney, Ann-Carol Nash, Code Enforcement Director Catherine Toppel, and <br /> Paralegal Pamela Paluszewski, and Reporter Margaret Fosmoe, South Bend Tribune. <br /> NEIGHBORHOODS <br /> Cathy Toppel stated that Code Enforcement is issuing a lot of letters to property owners <br /> to have their lawns mowed. Also, she said they are still working on enforcing the Single <br /> Family Dwellings zoning ordinances because single family district homes cannot be <br /> used for more than two unrelated residents residing in them. She also said they are <br /> preparing for the issuance of lawn parking permits and the enforcement of them during <br /> the upcoming football season. <br /> Sean Conley of Campus Housing stated they are encouraging their residents to meet <br /> the neighbors so that they can form relationships and hopefully create a respectful <br /> environment. <br />
