<br /> Ms. Greene noted that Gates submitted a Local Preference Form with their bid. She stated that
<br /> would adjust their bid by 5% but the amount awarded would be the full amount. It was noted
<br /> there were no other bids, so in this case it was not relevant. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br /> seconded by Mr. Price and carried, the above bids were referred to Central Services and the Fire
<br /> Department for review and recommendation.

<br /> This was the date set for receiving and opening of sealed bids for the above referenced project.
<br /> The Clerk tendered proofs of publication of Notice in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-
<br /> County News, which were found to be sufficient. It was noted that no bids were received for this
<br /> property.

<br /> Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Price and carried, the above Quotation
<br /> was referred to Engineering and Community and Economic Development for review and
<br /> recommendation.
<br /> APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 — WESTERN AVENUE AT CHAPIN STREET
<br /> INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS —PROJECT NO. 110-086 (LRSA)
<br /> Mr. Littrell advised that Mr. Toy Villa, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. 1 on
<br /> behalf of Selge Construction Company, Inc., 2833 South 11ffi Street, Niles, Michigan 49120,
<br /> indicating the Contract amount be increased by $11,056.40 for a modified Contract sum,
<br /> including this Change Order, in the amount of$515,215.03. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell,
<br /> seconded by Mr. Price and carried, the Change Order was approved.
<br /> APPROVE CHANGE ORDER NO. I — WAYNE STREET GARAGE FACADE — PROJECT
<br /> NO. 110-077 (SBCDA TIF)
<br /> Mr. Littrell advised that Mr. Rob Nichols, Engineering, has submitted Change Order No. I on
<br /> behalf of Gibson Lewis, LLC, 1001 West 11th Street, Mishawaka, Indiana 46544 indicating the
<br /> Contract amount be increased by $14,266.00 for a modified Contract sum, including this Change
<br /> Order, in the amount of$87,021.00. Upon a motion made by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Price
<br /> and carried,the Change Order was approved.
<br /> APPROVE QUOTE — JEFFERSON AND MAIN STREETSCAPE IMPROVEMENTS —
<br /> PROJECT NO. 111-047B (SBCDA)
<br /> Mr. Robert Nichols, Engineering, submitted a quote on behalf of Wausau Tile, 7871 Blacks
<br /> Road, Pataskala, Ohio 43062, for additional curb material for the above project, indicating the
<br /> original Contract amount be increased by $8,705.25 for a modified Contract sum, including this
<br /> quote, in the amount of$74,999.25. Upon a motion by Mr. Littrell, seconded by Mr. Price and
<br /> carried, the quote was approved.
