reviewed by the Committee. The Committee will <br />act on each application within thirty (30) days of the <br />receipt of the Application and Required Information. <br />For a typical building project, four (4) sets of plans <br />and specifications must be submitted (one of the <br />four sets shall be reproducible) as part of each <br />Application. The following section, `Required <br />Information," details the information that must be <br />included in the Application. A non - refundable <br />Review Fee made payable to the "Owners <br />Association at Blackthom" must accompany each <br />Application. The Committee will not act on any <br />Application without a Review Fee One copy of <br />the Application will remain on file with the <br />Committee. <br />REQUIRED INFORMATION <br />The Applicant starts the formal review process with <br />the submission of an Application for Design <br />Review. Each Application must include the <br />following information for Committee action. <br />Variances to the requirements of these Guidelines <br />and the Covenants may be permitted when deemed <br />appropriate by the Committee. Approval from the <br />South Bend Redevelopment Commission, as <br />Declarant of the Covenants,.may be required for <br />some variances. In order to obtain a variance, the <br />Applicant must request the variance in writing, <br />documenting the reason for the request and <br />providing evidence to clearly demonstrate the <br />merits of the proposed variance. <br />Each Application must be accompanied by a non- <br />refundable Review Fee equal to one tenth of one <br />percent (.1%) of the Architect's estimated cost of <br />construction of the proposed improvement or <br />$500.00, whichever is greater. <br />The following list identifies the information that <br />must be included in each Application to the <br />Committee. The Applicant shall complete form, <br />Application for Design Review, in its entirety, and <br />submit it with the required data. Although it is not <br />required, each Applicant is encouraged to submit <br />preliminary drawings and information to the Airport <br />2010 Project Manager for review before the formal <br />review process begins.
