IB. BOUNDARIES <br />The legal description of the Sample -Ewing Development Area is attached as <br />Exhibit A and represented by Map 1. In general, the alley west of Miami Street <br />serves as the eastern boundary. The southern edge of the project area is Ewing <br />Street, except for a small section of the Rum Village Neighborhood where the <br />southern boundary consists generally of Bruce and Donald Streets, and extends west <br />to the New Energy Ethanol Plant and continues through a large area of open land <br />unmarked by street, road or other physically distinct edge. The western boundary <br />follows the Rum Village Industrial Park along Lombardy Street north to the southern <br />edge of the Bellville Gardens subdivision, then east to the New Jersey, Indiana and <br />Illinois Railroad to Sample Street. <br />' <br />C. LAND USE <br />The present land use mix totals approximately 2400 acres and is composed of a <br />variety of uses: residential, industrial, warehouse /distribution, commercial/retail, <br />institutional and vacant land.
