RESOLUTION NO. 1270 <br />RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT <br />COMMISSION APPROVING MODIFICATIONS TO <br />THE LEASE FOR THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME/ <br />CENTURY CENTER PROJECT AND APPROVING THE EXECUTION <br />OF AN ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE <br />WHEREAS, the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the <br />"Commission ") previously entered into a Lease between the <br />Commission and the South Bend Redevelopment Authority (the <br />i <br />"Authority ") dated as of November 1, 1993 (the "Lease "), pursuant <br />to which the Authority will lease certain improvements including <br />I the existing Century Center facility and the College Football Hall <br />of Fame to be constructed by the Authority (the "Project ") to the <br />Commission; and <br />WHEREAS, the Commission entered into an addendum to lease <br />between the Commission and the Authority dated as of 3rd day of <br />June, 1994 (the "Addendum "), amending certain terms and provisions <br />of said Lease (the Lease and Addendum are collectively referred to <br />as the "Amended Lease ") <br />WHEREAS, the Authority, at a meeting on June 21, 1994, <br />has adopted on resolution determining to issue its "South Bend <br />Redevelopment Authority Variable Rate Demand Lease Rental Revenue <br />Bonds of 1994 (College Football Hall of Fame Project)" (the <br />"Bonds ") and further determining to enter into a purchase contract <br />with First Chicago Capital Markets, Inc., acting on behalf of <br />itself and one (1) other underwriter, providing for the sale the <br />Bonds; and <br />
