Wayne St. and at 839 Nutmeg Ct. <br />South Bend, IN 46601 South Bend, IN 46614 <br />RE: conditional Restaurant License - The Blarney Stone <br />-ear Mr. Hensley: <br />Thank you for meeting with Fire Department officials Federico <br />Rodriguez and John Fleming and me today at the Blarney Stone to <br />discuss the measures necessary to obtain Fire Department approval for <br />your restaurant license for 2011. Also present were Jim Markle, Aaron <br />Perri, Tamara Nicholl -Smith and John Freidline. <br />We learned that Downtown South Bend and Community and Economic <br />Development are working with Mr. Freidline to supply water and make <br />the sprinkler system operational. Anticipating that the system will <br />be in place by February 2012, the City will be able to issue the <br />restaurant license for 2011 on the condition that you hire a fire <br />watch person and have that person dedicated solely to fire watch at <br />any time that the Blarney Stone is open for business. This person <br />cannot have any other tasks, and must be in place regardless of the <br />number of patrons in the building. <br />It also will be necessary to have the occupancy limit posted and <br />monitor,the patrons to avoid exceeding the limit. <br />It appears to me that your 2011 license, for which you have paid, <br />will expire on February 28, 2012.
