RESOLUTION NO. 1318 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION COMMENDING <br />THEO R SHARP FOR MERITORIOUS SERVICE TO THE <br />SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />WHEREAS, many people express concern about urban problems and their impact <br />upon the community; and <br />WHEREAS, some people demonstrate their concern by personal involvement in the <br />process of seeking solutions; and <br />WHEREAS, a very few people are both willing and able to bring a degree of <br />dedication that culminates in real, measurable progress, enriching the life of the community; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Theo R Sharp has demonstrated his commitment to South Bend and his <br />dedication to the South Bend Redevelopment Commission since 1993; and <br />WHEREAS, Theo R Sharp has made special contributions in the areas of urban <br />planning, design review and community beautification; and <br />WHEREAS, Theo R Sharp has shown special interest in the St. Joseph River and in <br />the development of the East Bank of the river; and <br />WHEREAS, during the tenure of his service the quality of life of the residents of <br />South Bend has improved as a result of the contributions of time, knowledge, and good <br />judgement; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the South Bend Redevelopment <br />Commission hereby commends Theo R Sharp for meritorious service and expresses its <br />gratitude for a job well done. <br />Adopted at a Regular Meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission, held <br />on January 20, 1995 in Room 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, <br />South Bend, Indiana. <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION <br />Philip J.
