.•7 Resolution No. 1331 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA WHEREAS, St. Joseph County, Indiana (the "County ") is the owner of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described at Exhibit "A," hereto (hereinafter referred to as the "Real Property "); and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (Redevelopment), acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ( "Commission "), hereby expresses its desire to acquire Real Property from the County; and WHEREAS, the County is desirous of transferring the Real Property to Redevelopment; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 2 -2 -20, the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County, Indiana (the "Board ") has custody of and may maintain all real property of St. Joseph County; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, County, acting by and through the Board; may exchange or transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more particularly described at Exhibit "A," hereto, by St. Joseph County, Indiana to the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment shall be, and hereby is, accepted, subject to the adoption of a resolution by the Board of Commissioners of St. Joseph County, substantially identical in its terms and conditions to this resolution. 2. That upon receipt of fully executed quitclaim deed(s) to the Real Property from the County, the Director of Redevelopment is hereby authorized and directed to cause the recording of said quitclaim deeds) in the Office of the St. Joseph County Recorder. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption. ADOPTED at a meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on March 17, 1995, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
