Financing is provided by a 2003 bond issue. <br />Tax Incremental <br />Financing (TIF) - Central <br />Medical Service Area - To account for expenditures for public improvements in the central business <br />tax incremental district, medical service area. Financing is provided by <br />property tax proceeds in excess of those attributable to the assessed valu- <br />ation of the property in the district before redevelopment. <br />Equipment Leasing - To account for proceeds from capita( lease - purchase agreements used to <br />finance major equipment needs of the City. <br />Century Center 2001 <br />Construction - To account for construction and related costs of improvements to the City's <br />Century Center. Financing was provided by a 2001 bond issue. <br />Morris Entertainment - To account for donations received by Morris Entertainment, Inc., a nonprofit <br />corporation formed to solicit donations to finance improvements to the City's <br />Morris Performing Art Center. <br />South Bend Building <br />Corporation Construction - To account for construction and renovation financed by mortgage bond <br />issues. <br />75 <br />
