CASH MANAGEMENT <br />Federal Agency: U.S. Department of Justice <br />Federal Program: Public Safety Partnership and Community Policing Grants <br />CFDA Number: 16.710 <br />Federal Award Number: 2002CKWX0059 <br />The City feels that due to the special situation of this grant the City was in compliance <br />with cash management. An agent of the City contacted the grant issuer, U.S. Department <br />of Justice, and specifically inquired as to time requirements of the funds. The agent for <br />the U.S. Department of Justice informed the City that there were no restrictions that <br />needed to be followed. These instructions, given to the City, were confirmed by an <br />auditor for the U.S. Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General. <br />Thomas J.
