Resolution No. 1360 A RESOLUTION OF cr THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMISSION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY TO THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY AIRPORT AUTHORITY WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, for the use and benefit of its Department of Redevelopment ( "Redevelopment "), whose governing body, pursuant to I.C. 36- 7-14-3, is the South Bend Redevelopment Commission (the "Commission "), is the owner of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described at Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B," attached hereto (collectively referred to as the "Real Property ") and; WHEREAS, the St. Joseph County Airport Authority (the "Airport Authority ") desires to acquire the Real Property; and WHEREAS, the Commission desires to transfer title to the Real Property to the Airport Authority; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, Redevelopment may exchange or transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That for and in consideration of the payment of One Dollar ($1.00) to the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment by the St. Joseph County Airport Authority, the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more particularly at Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B," attached hereto by the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment to the St. Joseph County Airport Authority shall be, and hereby is, approved, subject to the adoption by the St. Joseph County Airport Authority of a resolution substantially similar in its terms to the terms of this resolution. 2. That the President and Secretary, respectively of the Commission, respectively, are authorized and directed to execute and attest to the execution of a quitclaim deed conveying all of the right, title and interest in and to the Real Property to the St. Joseph County Airport Authority. 3. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect upon its adoption. ADOPTED at the regular meeting of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission held on June 16, 1995, at 1308 County -City Building, 227 West Jefferson Boulevard, South Bend, Indiana 46601.
