Resolution No. 1364 A RESOLUTION OF THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE TRANSFER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Indiana, (the "City ") is the owner of the certain real property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana and being more particularly described as follows: Lot Numbered Twenty -two (22) as shown on the recorded Plat of Wenger and Krieghbaum's First Addition to the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, recorded April 2, 1892 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 6, page 1. Key No. 18- 7009 -0366 (hereinafter referred to as the Real Property) and; WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 9 -6 -3, said Real Property is under the exclusive control of the Board of Public Works for the City of South (hereinafter referred to as the "Board "); and WHEREAS, the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment (Redevelopment), acting by and through the South Bend Redevelopment Commission ( "Commission "), hereby expresses its desire to acquire Real Property from the City; and WHEREAS, the City is desirous of transferring the Real Property to Redevelopment and to that end the Board adopted at its meeting of June 26, 1995, a resolution indicating its intent to transfer the Real Property to the Commission; and WHEREAS, pursuant to I.C. 36- 1 -11 -8, the City may exchange or transfer property with another governmental entity upon terms and conditions agreed upon by the two (2) entities as evidenced by the adoption of substantially identical resolutions of each entity. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE SOUTH BEND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the transfer of the Real Property situated in St. Joseph County, Indiana, and more particularly as follows: Lot Numbered Twenty -two (22) as shown on the recorded Plat of Wenger and Krieghbaum's First Addition to the City of South Bend, in St. Joseph County, Indiana, recorded April 2, 1892 in the Office of the Recorder of St. Joseph County, Indiana, in Plat Book 6, page 1. Key No. 18- 7009 -0366 by the City of South Bend, Indiana to the City of South Bend, Department of Redevelopment shall be, and hereby is, accepted.
