CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />NOTES TO SCHEDULE OF EXPENDITURES OF FEDERAL AWARDS <br />Note 1 Basis of Presentation <br />The accompanying Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards includes the federal grant activity of <br />the City of South Bend (primary government) and is presented in accordance with the requirements <br />of OMB Circular A -133, Audits of States. Local Governments. and Non - Profit Organizations. <br />Accordingly, the amount of federal awards expended is based on when the activity related to the <br />award occurs. Therefore, some amounts presented in this schedule may differ from amounts pre- <br />sented in, or used in the preparation of, the basic financial statements. <br />Note 2.
