REQUIRED PROGRESS REPORTS <br />Federal Agency: U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development <br />Federal Program: Neighborhood Initiative Grants <br />CFDA Number: 14.Unknown <br />Federal Award Number: B-01-NI-IN-SB-001 <br />The effective date of the grant agreement was May 16, 2001. No progress reports on performance <br />and financial status were prepared or filed in 2001 or in 2002. <br />The grant agreement sets out the following provisions for reporting: <br />"ARTICLE IV. Progress Reports. <br />The Grantee shall submit a progress report every six months after the effective date of the <br />grant agreement. Progress reports shall include reports on both performance and financial <br />progress and shall conform with 24 CFR 85.40 and 85.41 or CFR Sections 84.50 through 84.53, <br />as applicable. Additional information required or increased frequency of reporting as may be <br />described in Article VI11(C). <br />A. The performance reports must contain the information required under 24 CFR Part 85.40(b) <br />(2) or 24 CFR Part 84.51(a), as applicable including a comparison of actual accomplishments <br />to the objectives indicated in the approved application, the reasons for slippage if established <br />objectives were not met, and additional pertinent information including explanation of signifi- <br />cant cost overruns. <br />B. Financial reports shall be submitted on Standard Form 269A. <br />C. No grant payments will be approved for projects with overdue progress reports." <br />Failure to submit reports as required may result in delays in receiving grant funds and possibly they <br />loss of future grant funds. <br />All required progress reports for performance and financial status should be filed every six months as <br />required by the grant agreement. <br />Officials concur and have filed all the past required reports on March 31, 2003. <br />154 <br />
